ANNA MARIA ISLAND CONDOS

Anna Maria Island Real Estate

Anna Maria Island is a 7-mile-long barrier island that runs from the mouth of Tampa Bay south to Longboat Pass. Famous for its white sandy beaches, magnificent sunsets, and “never in hurry” lifestyle, Anna Maria is popular with people of all ages and backgrounds.

All three towns located on the island have narrow winding roads and numerous points of beach access. There are gulf and bay front parks up and down the entire island. Fishing piers, public beaches, fine dining establishments, shops, and marinas also dot the Anna Maria Island. The island also contains a public grade school, live theatre (The Island Players), and numerous houses of worship. A free trolley system makes exploring the island easy.

The only thing you won’t find on Anna Maria Island are high rises. All of the residences are limited to low profile condominiums and single family homes

Anna Maria Island is also only minutes away from all the attractions and amenities available in Sarasota and Manatee County, including the Sarasota Bradenton Airport, the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, The Asolo Repertory Theatre, The Ringling Museum, The South Florida Museum, Selby Gardens, Jungle Gardens, and more.

The island is only an hour away from major professional sports franchises including the Tampa Bay Lightning, Tampa Bay Bucs, and Tampa Bay Rays. Most locations on Anna Maria Island are only a 15 minute drive to the famous IMG Academies, including the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy and the David Leadbetter Golf Academy. The home of the Orlando Magic is also only a couple of hours away, along with the other countless Orlando attractions. Finally, don’t forget major league baseball spring training – you are in the heart of it with the Pittsburg Pirates in Bradenton and the Cincinnati Reds in Sarasota, plus dozens of other teams within a short afternoon’s drive.
