Kanaya Properties LLC has purchased the last 7 unsold Kanaya residences and now has them on the market at great prices.
The building is located in the Southwest quadrant of downtown at the intersection of Orange and Laurel, across Orange from Burns Court. The amenities include a Yoga and Pilates workout room, a cardio training room, sauna, social room with kitchen, and a lap pool and deck with an outdoor cooking area.

The residences all have private elevators that open in the foyer of the residence, 9’4” ceilings, solid wood entry doors, and all of the other amenities you would expect in a downtown luxury condominium.
There are 3 floor plans. The end residences are mirror images of each other (Bamboo North and Bamboo South). These plans are 3BR/3.5BA with 3000 s.f. The main/west facing balconies are 10X26 feet and face either NW (Bamboo North) up the ICW across Island Park and the Ringling Bridge toward Longboat or SW (Bamboo South) down the ICW toward Big Pass and Siesta Key. There is also a balcony at each of the east-side corners that affords either E/NE views or E/SE views depending on the side. The east facing balconies are accessible from each of the two guest suites.

The center floor plan is the Laurel (there are 3 residences per floor with 12 floors for a total of 36 residences in the building). The Laurel features 3BR/2.5BA with 2600 s.f. While the Laurel has less air conditioned space, it does have a larger west facing balcony measuring 12X48 and a larger east facing balcony at 10X28. The west facing balcony looks towards Big Pass,Bird Key, and South Lido.

The 7 residences purchased by Kanaya Properties, LLC have asking prices ranging from $550,000 to $825,000. With the exception of the finished model (unit 1402 with the asking price of $825,000), all of the residences come “designer ready”. This means that the buyer is responsible for installing floors, kitchen cabinets, counters, and appliances, and bath cabinets, counters, toilets, and plumbing hardware.
It is my understanding that the 2 South Bamboo models are already under contract which now means that the lowest priced residence is an 11th floor Laurel model for $599,000. The only 3000 s.f./Bamboo model remaining is 1201 – a north side end unit for $699,000. All others are center unit Laurels.
